The Maryland Horse Foundation (MHF) was chartered in 1988 by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association (MHBA) to serve the various educational and informational needs of the Maryland horse industry. We believe in engaging future generations by offering educational opportunities and public outreach. While acting as a resource for and about Maryland’s horse industry, and maintaining the Maryland Horse Library & Education Center (MHLEC) we serve as the cultural hub and repository of historical information on the horse industry.
