This is a 2 day event. The potato fest (Spud Fest) and the draft horse plowing occurs on Saturday August 26, 2023. Potato Fest opens at 9am and runs until 3pm.

Saturday is the “kids”day. Potato Picking Registration begins at 10AM and the Draft Horse Plowing demonstration begins shortly thereafter. The Potato Picking contest starts at 11AM and runs until about noon, depending upon how many children.

There are prizes for who picks the heaviest potato in each of the three age groups: 2,3,4 years of age, 5,6,7 year olds, and 8,9,10,11. Family Farm & Home is giving $20 store gift cards for the 1st place winners in each group.
