It’s Greenwell Foundation’s May Open Barn! Join us at our Open Barn event to learn about our programs, meet staff, animals, and featured guests, watch (possibly participate in) demonstrations, and have FUN!

Weather:
This is a RAIN or SHINE outdoor/barn event. Please dress for the weather and we do recommend wearing closed-toed shoes.

Location & Cost:
We are located within Greenwell State Park in Hollywood, Maryland. ($) The park has an honor system and charges a parking fee of $3.00 per car.

Activities:
Many of the activities are free.
($) Designates activities that do have a fee. Cash and credit cards will be accepted on-site the day of the event.
At this event you can;
– Meet our staff and volunteers. Please feel free to ask questions and let us show you around!
– Meet our animals (in and out of our barn); we have horses, ponies, mini horses, mini mules, three goats, a pig, and two barn cats!
– Visit the Mindful Meadow and meet our goats Billy, Taco, and Lilly up close!
– See actual lessons that might be taking place.
– ($) We will have our T-Shirt Shop open! You can purchase a Greenwell Foundation t-shirt and then Tie-Dye it at our Tie-Dye Station for no additional cost! We will even package it up so you can take it home, mess-free.
