Each day, participants will spend 5-6 hours learning about a variety of topics relating to horse care and handling, delivered through classroom instruction and reinforced through hands-on learning activities. In addition to learning about horses, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a water day, tie-dye day and riding day! Legacy is a great way to jumpstart your child’s passion for horses and volunteer experience at DEFHR!

Sessions run Monday through Friday until August 18.

7-11 year-olds: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

12-17 year-olds: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
