Featuring items donated by MARS Maryland 5*, Tipperary, SmartPak, Equestly, Nutrena, Woodge Fulton, Platinum Performance, & more! We are also still accepting donations of items and/or services (they don’t have to be horse-related!).

The Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation (FMFEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations and bids will bring awareness to our efforts and help raise funds to support us in our endeavors.

Hats from Horses to Benefit Cancer Warriors

A Cancer Warrior faces many challenges. One is them the prospect of losing their hair. We would like to help by having a Trail Rider benefit them with a donation of hats to a local Cancer support group or hospital.
The following is a short statement from my sister-in-law Debi Rager and her journey:
“Right or wrong, we women tend to define ourselves by certain physical attributes. Our hair is a big one – how long it is, how it’s styled, what color it is. So for a woman to receive a cancer diagnosis, she’s not only thinking about how she is going to fight the cancer and how she is going to feel, but what will she look like?
“My own journey with cancer was, in part, a journey of hats. When I received my diagnosis of Stage 1 breast cancer and my treatment plan, my oncologist was very kind, but honest to a fault: ‘You’re going to lose your hair.’ I thought I might be one of those rare and lucky ladies who didn’t lose their hair, but sure enough, less than two weeks after my first treatment, my hair was falling out by the handfuls.
“Rather than not knowing when I would be completely hairless, I decided to have my head shaved. Now I looked like my husband! It wasn’t so bad, but I didn’t want to parade my cue ball head in public. The next big decision was: Wear a wig or a hat?
“I opted for baseball caps and turbans. They were the perfect pick for me as I could select a different hat each day depending upon my mood, my clothing colors, etc. I have a collection of over 10 baseball caps, four turbans, two cowboy hats, and three scarves (don’t forget about scarves – they are quite versatile). My “arsenal” of head gear made me feel better when I was tired from the treatments and definitely helped me through a very rough time in my life. I will never get rid of them, and I will always be grateful for the simple power of a hat!”

Halloween Paint Party with Horses

Join FHHR and our horses for a spooktacular painting party!

Inspired by our Equine Assisted Learning programs, participants should come prepared to customize a pre-drawn, Halloween-themed canvas. This session includes meet and greets with our horses, discussions on horse health and nutrition, and how these lessons can be applied to the participants’ well-being.

Tickets are just $25 per person and go on sale on September 6th.

Hocus Pocus at Hallowhinny

FREE Admission with a donation for the animals that call Foxie G home appreciated.

There will be live music and food available for purchase from the Taco Joint. You can also bring a picnic.

Highlights include:

  1. Meet the “Sanderson Sisters”, Foxie G horses Kat, Idaka and Parched Ghost.
  2. Live music.
  3. Elk Run wines(for those over 21).
  4. Black Cat candy bar.
  5. Costume contests for you and your dog – come dressed as your fave Hocus Pocus character or in any fun costume!
  6. Hay rides, Vendors & more!

Sip & Win with the Maryland Horse Foundation

The Sip & Win cocktail reception and live auction returns for 2024 at the Maryland Horse Library & Education Center. Proceeds benefit the Maryland Horse Foundation.

This annual event offers lots of fun for the whole family! Enjoy live music, kid’s games, wine tastings and wine for purchase from Elk Run Vineyards, La Parada food truck, desserts from Raize the Bar and of course an egg hunt! Bring a picnic or purchase lunch at Foxie G.
