Open Barn at LeCheval Stable

Join the LeCheval Stable for their open house! They are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose goals are to educate the community on therapeutic horseback riding and to provide individuals and families with custom tailored riding lessons.

Activities will include:

  • Equicizer
  • Equi-yoga
  • Round pen liberty
  • Dynamic Duo drill team

Full Moon Farm Parent and Me Session

Do you have a toddler that loves horses? Full Moon Farm is excited to offer “Parent and Me” sessions for kids ages 2-5. Children will have the chance to meet, groom, and ride a pony– and of course feed them treats!

This is a great way to introduce your young child to horses. Sessions are limited to five children.

Taking the Lead Fun Fall Festival

Join our Fall Festival for a fun-filled, sensory-friendly day at Taking the Lead at Timberbrook Farm to learn how we harness the therapeutic power of animals to achieve goals, inspire independence and build a community.

Admission & activities are free!

Meet our magic makers at our petting zoo and horse kissing booth. Toad races and a chicken calling contest, fan favorites from last year, are back again! We’ll have food trucks and FREE activities including fall crafts, games, pumpkin painting, a bounce house, and a goat show just to name a few.

Experience interactive demonstrations on our services hippotherapy (occupational therapy on horseback) and small groups for children and young adults to learn skills to make friends. Learn about local resources for the disabled community.

11am to 11:30am – Hippotherapy Demonstration – Improving Posture & Balance
11:30am to 12:00pm – Toad Races Followed by Line Dancing
12pm to 12:30pm HERD – Fostering Relationships to Combat Bullying
12:30pm to 1pm – Goat Show – Participants from the audience welcome!
1:30pm to 2pm – Chicken Calling Contest followed by Line Dancing
2pm to 2:30pm – Hippotherapy Demonstration – Building Focus & Confidence
2:30pm to 3pm – Goat Show – Participants from the audience welcome!
3pm to 3:30pm – Hippotherapy Demonstration – Developing Communication for Low- and Non-verbal Individuals

Did we say admission and activities are FREE!?! Individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome! This is not a pet-friendly event as our farm animals have a unique dynamic and we must maintain human and animal safety; no pets are permitted

Boo-tiful Barn Bash

We heard your requests and will be bringing our BOO-tiful Barn Bash back to haunt you in 2024!

Come out to the farm and join us for our 2nd Annual BOO-tiful Barn Bash on Saturday, October 26th!   Bring the kids to the farm to enjoy trick-or-treating around some spook-tacularly decorated horse stalls! We will dim the lights and put on the best Halloween playlist for 2 hours of fun! If you come upon a stall (or stalls) that you absolutely love, cast your vote! At $1/vote, you can put all your votes towards one stall or divide it amongst all. No matter how you vote, it will all go back to our rescue to continue helping horses. Bring cash or purchase tokens at $1/token.

Admission is FREE(although donations are encouraged and appreciated), so come on out and help us make this event a BOO-tiful success!

Fixin’ Fences Inc in Bryan’s Honor

The Fixin’ Fences team is pleased to share we have purchased an amazing horse carriage for trail rides and construction on our Veterans’ Quarters in progressing well.  Our Open House/Fall In event has also been scheduled for 26 October at Good Intentions Farm in Keymar, MD.

Hopefully you’ll be able to join us and thank you again for your incredible generosity and support of our mission to help veterans and their familes overcome the hidden wounds of war and military service.

Our Not Too Scary Haunted Barn

Join High Ridge for the ‘haunted barn’, pony rides, straw maze, cuddle a calf, kissing booth, hay ride and more. Kid’s 12 and younger are $10 (older than 12–free with canned goods donation or $5).

This event is geared to children 2-12; however, all are welcome at the haunted barn. For more information please text or call 443-375-0140. Rain or shine–inside and outside event. Barn is not climate controlled, please dress for the weather.
