ESJA Pre-Championship and Championship Jousts

Eastern Shore Jousting Association will be holding their Annual Championship Joust on Sunday, September 24th starting at 1pm at the Tuckahoe Equestrian Center, 619 Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, MD.  Jousting is Maryland’s Official State Sport.  Open to the Public to Watch.  Please bring your own chairs.  For more information, contact Diane Sherwood at 410-310-7945

High Ridge Farm Fall Fun Show

Ride english or western. Senior, Junior, Lead Line, and JR/Sr Walk/jog divisions available. $45 per horse & rider (no cross-entering) or $15 a class. End of day champion & reserve champion awarded for each division. Points accumulate for end of series champions/reserve champions. Helmets and negative coggins required. A fun, low-key environment. No dogs or alcohol.

St. Mary’s County Fair Joust

The St. Mary’s County Fair Joust takes over the grandstand arena at the fairgrounds in Leonardtown.  Enjoy some fair food in the shade of the grandstand seating while watching Maryland’s State Sport in action.  Our jousters will be happy to answer any questions about the sport and how you and your horse could participate in future jousts or clinics.

Maryland High School Rodeo

 Sept 9 @ 6PM, Sept 10 @ 11AM, Cowboy Church with Mr Joel Nupp Sept 10 @ 9AM

Cowboys and Cowgirls from MD, PA, DE, age Kindergarten through 12th grade, competing in 8 rodeo events, including Barrel Racing, Roping and Bull Riding.  These athletes compete all season for points towards year end awards and the opportunity to compete at the National High School and Junior High School Rodeo Finals.

Caroline County Joust

Eastern Shore Jousting Association will be holding their Caroline County Joust on Sunday, September 3rd starting at 1pm at Caroline County 4-H Park, 8230 Detour Road, Denton, MD.  Jousting is Maryland’s Official State Sport.  Open to the Public to Watch.  Please bring your own chairs.

MJTA Memorial Joust

Come and join ring jousters from across Maryland as we remember those influential members of the jousting community who came before us and are no longer with us.  Watch jousters from lead-line to pro demonstrate their skills as they try to capture the rings!

Fairplay Day Joust

Interested in learning how to ring joust?  Call Bob Enfield at 301-514 3577 to see about a possible clinic to be held prior to this tournament.  Need to bring your own horse.
